This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled by the mobile application (the 'App') provided by BYG VPN (the 'Service', 'we' or 'us'). We process data only to the extent necessary for accounts, connections, diagnostics and customer support, and we work to protect your privacy within this policy.

When you download and launch the App, the system may collect necessary operational data, including but not limited to your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app access paths, connection status and session duration. To recommend better routes, we may process approximate device location information. This information is used to: 1. recommend connection options based on BYG VPN's node distribution; 2. improve stability through anonymized aggregate diagnostics; 3. send necessary service updates, security notices or subscription messages. Sensitive information is retained only as described in this policy.

We only transmit aggregated anonymized data to necessary third-party providers such as Google Play Services and Firebase for crash analysis, performance monitoring and feature improvement. Except in the following circumstances, we do not share your personal information with third parties: 1. complying with legal procedures or mandatory regulatory requirements; 2. protecting user safety or investigating fraud; 3. cooperating with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. To stop new data collection, uninstall the App through your device’s standard process.

User-provided data will be retained during the service period and for a reasonable grace period afterward. If you need to cancel your account and delete your personal profile early, please contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit data from that group, and if such data is collected by mistake, we will delete it as soon as practical. Guardians may contact us at the email above.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time due to regulatory requirements or business adjustments. Please review this page regularly. Continued use after changes are published will be treated as acceptance of the revised terms. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025.
